Endgame: The Calling
I joined the Niantic art team to work on location based games. My first project was 'Endgame the calling' based on the book by James Frey. We had many original characters and weapon designs to create for the game in a very short amount of time. I created over 60 weapon and artifact concepts for the game and several of the in-game characters.
To streamline asset creation for our vendors, I developed an asset pipeline using Substance designer. With Substance, changes and tweaks were a breeze and the resulting assets looked really great in Unity.
I was also responsible for supervising the vendors production of all 25 characters and 85 assets for the game providing art direction and feedback to the teams in China, Vietnam and Southern California.
